Batman, Iron Man, or Frodo?

2012 has real potential. The Dark Knight Rises, The Avengers, and The Hobbit are all poised to set huge numbers this year, but who will be king?
All are based off of existing properties that have been successful- Batman, Marvel characters, and Lord of the Rings. All have the potential to make over 400 million domestic, but who will win the #1 spot?
All have advantages; Dark Knight Rises is coming off the massive Dark Knight and more of the movie will be in IMAX. The Avengers is bringing in 7 popular heroes and 3D, and The Hobbit has years of anticipation and it has a Christmas release.
So which movie can be victorious this year? Or will another movie top all 3? That's highly unlikely, but anything is in the cards!

  1. On a side note, Frodo is minimally involved in The Hobbit, instead it is rather a story of Bilbo. And considering the numbers that The Lord of the Rings had, and the fact that The Hobbit is being split into two movies, it should rake in A LOT.
